The brief
A small wine merchant sells twelve bottles, not a huge catalog, and a plain product grid makes them all look alike. This design preview treats the wines like books in a small library, so people can browse the shelf, pick one up and look at it.
What we built
A wall of twelve wines
Every wine gets its own block of color. Visitors can rearrange the wall by region, type, grape or year, and the bottles move to their new places.
A bottle you can turn
Drag a bottle or use the slider to spin it around and read the back label. We built the bottles and labels in 3D, then saved them as images so they load quickly on any device.
A poster for every wine
Each wine has its own page in its own colors, with its story, tasting notes, food pairings and price. The reserve button carries that bottle straight into the request form.
The design
An Italian poster wall: huge condensed type, flat color, and a different pair of colors for every wine.
Built for phones and Google
On a phone, the wall drops to two columns, and the bottle still turns with a swipe or the slider. Visitors who turn off motion get the same content without the animation.
